General Posting Tips


HOW TO POST AN AD :-

-  Click the button POST AN AD on the top right corner of the page and follow step by step instructions.
-  Create a clear title that describes the service or job you are advertising.
-  Take one or more pictures of your jobs or services you provide. 
-  Check your spelling - recruiters will be put off by poor grammar and spelling mistakes.

MY ADVERT DOES NOT SHOW UP ON THE SITE?

Check the status of your advert by visiting MY ACCOUNT. This would let you know  if your advert is awaiting review  or if changes nee to be made to it.

HOW WILL PEOPLE CONTACT ME?

You could choose to receive responses either by telephone or via the Domestic Jobs messaging service or both but we advise everyone to communicate through Domestic Jobs messaging service first.

FEATURED ADVERTS


Featured ads are a premium service that allows you to boost your ads to the top of a category for 30 days. The cost for a featured advert would vary across the different categories but the results are the same. Once an advert has been posted and selected,  the upgrade option would display your new and shiny featured advert  at the top of the listings above basic adverts.

POSTING GUIDELINES


1. All Ads must have a valid email address.
2. Ads must be placed in its appropriate category.
3. Please do not post duplicate ads.
4. NO violence, hate speech, offensive or abusive language or ads targeting companies or individuals.
5. DO NOT POST jobs that do not meet the minimum wage or require a fee.


IN TERMS OF JOB OFFER

  • 1. Meet prospective employers at their workplace. PLEASE BE AWARE of any employer prepared to offer you a job without meeting you.
  • 2. NEVER provide your bank account details or personal ID such as passport or driving licence, National Insurance Card details when applying for a      job.
  • 3. DO NOT send any money for security deposit purpose or as a bank draft.


    • HIRING A DOMESTIC STAFF

    The following documents are required:

    • ID passport or driving license
    • Minimum of two references from current and previous employers or customers. Please check them very carefully.
    • Proof of address- this could be a recent bank statement, utility bill or council tax bill.
    • UTR number from the tax office if they are self- employed or a company registration number if it's a company.
    • Public liability insurance is recommended
